African Casting Scandal : Another Trending Video of a ZCC Girl Sets Social Media Ablaze

Just when the internet thought it had seen it all, another video allegedly involving a young ZCC (Zion Christian Church) girl has sent timelines into overdrive. The clip, which has been circulating rapidly across social media platforms including Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), has once again dragged the church into uncomfortable conversations — and users are not holding back.

The images and snippets shared show a young woman in distinctive attire often associated with ZCC members — including a green beret-like headpiece with scalloped edges, a red beret, and clothing featuring star motifs and colors linked to the church’s uniforms. She appears in playful or expressive poses, with captions referencing « Kgotsoong & Stuff » (a greeting style tied to ZCC’s emphasis on peace, or « kgotso ») and other phrases like « Aona Paris moh ». One zoomed-in detail highlights what seems to be a casual or home setting, including a framed portrait and everyday elements.

According to online chatter, this is not the first time such content involving young women linked to the church has trended, and many are now questioning what’s really going on. Comment sections are filled with shock, disappointment, and heated debate, with some users even dragging the church’s traditions into the spotlight.

A loud group on social media is now calling on Bishop Lekganyane to “slow down on the ingredients” in the taelo tea, joking — or maybe not — that it’s making the young girls “wild.” Others argue that while the tea (a blessed beverage used in ZCC practices for healing and following religious commands, or « taelo ») may be suitable for elder women, younger members should be kept far away from it. In their view, these recurring scandals are embarrassing the church, stripping it of its dignity, and contradicting the values it preaches.

The Zion Christian Church, one of the largest African-initiated churches in Southern Africa, emphasizes peace, healing through faith, and strict moral conduct. Its members often wear symbolic uniforms and greet with phrases promoting harmony. Yet, in recent times, viral moments involving alleged members — sometimes tied to personal or explicit content — have sparked broader discussions about youth, modernity, and church expectations.

As the video continues to spread, reactions remain polarized: some defend personal choices, while others see it as a blow to the institution’s image. WATCH VIDEO IN THE FIRST COMMENT (as shared in various posts).

This incident highlights how quickly social media can amplify private moments into public controversies, especially when they intersect with cultural or religious identities. Whether it’s harmless fun or something more, the debate shows no signs of slowing down.
