Calvin Bassey missing the clash after picking up a yellow card during Wednesday night’s semi-final defeat to hosts Morocco, the Fulham F.C defender was watching the game in the stands.
Besides him was Eva Apio, a Ugandan-born British model who had previously been rumoured to have dated singer Asake.
The 25-year-old shared videos on her social media pages highlighting her support for the Nigerian Super Eagles.
She also shared videos of Calvin Bassey and added love emojis, sparking dating rumors about them, with some Nigerian netizens already referring to her as “his new girlfriend.”
Neither Apio nor Bassey has said a word about their closeness, but we can tell they are both happy around each other.
