Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly responded to comedian DeeOne following his claims that she was lying about her alleged relationship with Nigerian pastor Chris Okafor.
In a video shared on the Instagram page Mma_Ogala on December 16, 2025, the actress addressed the controversy and explained why she sent personal content to the comedian via social media.
Actress Explains Why She Shared Evidence
According to Doris Ogala, the image she sent to DeeOne was a screenshot taken during a private chat she had with Pastor Chris Okafor. She stated that the screenshot was meant to support her claims and demonstrate that her allegations were not fabricated.
She added that DeeOne was free to share the material publicly if he wished, insisting that she was ready to stand by her statements regardless of the consequences.
Claims of Apology and Private Messages
The actress further alleged that DeeOne had previously contacted her privately to apologize after using an old photo of her and the pastor in a video without her consent. She claimed he told her the image was sourced from Twitter and asked her to clarify aspects of her allegations, which he said he did not fully understand.
Doris Ogala maintained that the disputed video was already in circulation, claiming Pastor Chris Okafor had forwarded it to his legal representative.
“I Want to Confront Him With the Truth”
In her statement, the actress emphasized that her goal was to confront the pastor with what she described as the truth. She revealed that she had also sent the same material to media personality Daddy Freeze, adding that she was prepared to face backlash and personal losses as a result of speaking out.
The controversy continues to generate strong reactions online, with social media users divided over the claims and counterclaims made by those involved.
