Lerato Molwelang, a 20-year-old South African woman, has come forward to expose what she describes as a fake modelling audition scam allegedly operated by Ivo Suzee. She says she was deceived into believing she was attending a legitimate audition, only to be exploited and recorded without her informed consent. The matter gained public attention after a video linked to the incident began circulating online.
A Seemingly Legitimate Opportunity
Molwelang explained that the situation began when she responded to an advertisement published on African Audition, a platform claiming to offer modelling opportunities and professional interviews. At the time, she believed the offer was genuine and part of a standard casting process.
However, she later realised that the promises made to her were allegedly false.

Allegations of Deception and Exploitation
According to Molwelang, false assurances of work and exposure were used to lure her into a compromising situation. She claims that intimate footage was recorded without any signed contract or informed consent and was later distributed online for profit.
She has firmly stated that she never agreed to the recording, sharing, or monetisation of the material. As a result, she is now pursuing legal action against Suzee and the entities involved.

Ivo Suzee is reportedly linked to several similar platforms, including African Casting. Public warnings indicate that these sites have allegedly targeted young women in South Africa, Kenya, and other African countries by promising modelling careers, media exposure, or fast-tracked success.
South African authorities have previously issued alerts regarding such schemes, noting that recording and distributing explicit content without consent may violate national laws related to cybercrime and media regulation. At the time of writing, no arrests have been officially confirmed in connection with this specific case.

In a video statement shared publicly, Molwelang confirmed that she is the individual appearing in the circulating footage. She emphasised, however, that everything occurred under false pretences and that she felt manipulated and exposed.
Her decision to speak out has drawn widespread support online, with many users calling for justice and warning others about fraudulent casting agencies. Several women have also shared similar experiences involving fake auditions.
