The recordings reportedly show Crystal in very private moments with one or more partners. The footage, of varying quality, is mainly circulating on Telegram and WhatsApp.
Crystal is a 16-year-old TikToker from Kinshasa who has seen her popularity grow rapidly in recent months. With several hundred thousand followers, she became known for her content on TikTok.
This latest incident starkly highlights the vulnerability of female influencers to vindictive ex-partners, account hacking, or malicious screenshots.
While awaiting a possible response from Crystal herself, the internet continues to erupt. One thing is certain: behind the millions of views and smiles during live streams, reality can sometimes be far harsher for these young women who have made sharing their profession.
