The businesswoman also had to disable comments on her social media due to a flood of criticism and memes.
Model, entrepreneur, and digital presenter Verónica Saltos was at the center of one of those live “accidents” that social media never lets slide. During the presentation of her clothing line, “Clothing” Verónica Saltos, the black dress she was wearing failed to fully cover what ended up being shown on national television in Ecuador.
In a clip that has already surpassed 1.5 million views in just a few hours (and continues to climb), it is clearly visible how the garment revealed part of her body at the most unexpected moment. Saltos tried to keep modeling gracefully, but viewers quickly noticed the detail that showed more than intended, causing laughter on set, looks of surprise, and a brief moment of pure television chaos that rapidly went viral.
What followed was an avalanche of reactions: from memes to epic edits, phrases questioning whether it was really an accident, and dozens of users claiming it was “unintentional… but intentional.”
Verónica Saltos, who already has a long history of viral moments (on-camera fainting spells, various controversies, and unforgettable public feuds), now adds this episode to her résumé of “things that happen live and turn into trends.” Far from sparking massive negative criticism, most comments celebrated the moment for its authenticity, calling it “the best unintentional marketing of the year” for her brand.
The viral moment certainly caused embarrassment for the host, who, due to the flood of comments on her Instagram account, had to disable all comments.
