A pilot working for British Airways has been arrested after allegations surfaced that he secretly recorded intimate encounters with multiple women and shared the videos online without their consent.
The case came to light after several of the women reportedly discovered footage of their private encounters posted on suspicious websites. According to reports, the pilot allegedly filmed himself during encounters with at least 16 women.
Investigators believe the man developed relationships with women from different airlines while traveling for work. These encounters allegedly took place during layovers in hotels between flights across various destinations around the world.
One woman, who says she was targeted between 2023 and 2025, revealed that she had no idea she was being recorded. She said she only became aware of the situation after another woman who had experienced the same thing contacted her.
According to her account, the pilot would place his laptop in front of them during their encounters, often with music playing but the screen turned off. She later realized that the device had likely been used to secretly record the encounters. She also claimed that the footage later appeared online and that at least 15 other women may have been filmed in the same way.
Another alleged victim reportedly discovered multiple videos stored on the pilot’s laptop, according to reports by The Sun. It is also claimed that the suspect covered a small indicator light on the laptop to hide the fact that the camera was recording.
The pilot had also reportedly been reported to British Airways over alleged cocaine use, sources claim. The airline has since suspended him from duty while the police investigation continues.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a 31-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, March 5, on suspicion of voyeurism. Authorities said the arrest followed a complaint filed on March 3 regarding videos that had allegedly been recorded and distributed without consent.
The suspect has since been released on bail while investigations continue.
A spokesperson for the UK Civil Aviation Authority stated that they could not comment on individual cases but confirmed that any reports involving substance misuse are taken seriously and reviewed, with appropriate action taken when necessary.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the full scope of the allegations and identify any additional victims.
