A scandal has erupted in Kenya involving Geoffrey Koros, the alleged headteacher of Kiptagich Primary School, who was reportedly caught red-handed in a compromising situation with a married woman in Wamgong, Kiptagich-Olenguruone area.
According to eyewitness accounts and a widely shared social media post by Kennedy Rotich Arap Cheboin, the incident unfolded when locals confronted Koros after he was allegedly seen leaving the married woman’s house. In a video circulating online, Koros is seen pleading for mercy from the angry residents.
In his defense, Koros denied emerging from the married woman’s residence. Instead, he claimed he had been visiting Madam Pascalia, an Early Childhood Development (ECD) teacher at the same school, with whom he admitted to having an affair.
The situation has taken a more serious turn as Koros is now accused of attempting to bribe his way out of the scandal. Reports claim he is intimidating and offering bribes to the young men who recorded the video and witnessed the confrontation, pressuring them not to testify or come forward with evidence.
“What a shame!” the original post exclaimed, highlighting the alleged misconduct of a respected educator in the community.
The post also included a plea to “Hide my identity!” reflecting concerns over potential repercussions for sharing the sensitive information.
This unfolding drama has sparked outrage online, with many questioning the moral standing of educators and the use of bribery and intimidation to suppress such incidents in local schools.
As of now, no official statement has been released by the school or education authorities regarding the allegations against Geoffrey Koros. The story continues to generate significant discussion on social media platforms.
