Rumors about the circulation of intimate videos attributed to Oteele (real name Stephen Yaw Mawunyo), a popular actor and comedian in Ghana’s Kumawood film industry, have been spreading widely on social media since August 12, 2026.
On X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and other platforms, many Ghanaian users are sharing or commenting on posts referring to leaked sexual videos of the actor, who is nicknamed “Biggie.”
Some posts claim that excerpts are circulating, while others simply tease links, often leading to dubious websites or Telegram channels.
Several recent posts indicate that Oteele’s son stated during a TikTok live that the images circulating are AI-generated (deepfakes). This claim has not been confirmed by the actor himself or by his family through official channels at the time of writing.
